What's your most positive student experience?
Think of all your days or years of teaching/leading in schools. What experience stands out as one of the most positive? Don't forget....you do make a difference.
One experience that stands out for me is peeling carrots, making hamburgers, and washing dishes with students. Each night a different group of students and a staff member would make and clean up dinner for the other students and staff in our public school. The bonding from working and eating together was a rewarding important foundation for our learning together.
